  • 1.30 - The impact of the National Water Management Plan on our rural and urban communities by Tom Lambie, Ecan Commissioner
  • 2.10pm - Research in cost effective feed systems, particularly Fodder beet; Dairy, S&B, Deer Gross Margins by Jim Gibbs, Lincoln University
  • 2.50pm - Afternoon tea break
  • 3.10pm - The benefits of Precision Agriculture systems to the Environment and Financial balance sheet by Craig MacKenzie, Methven farmer
  • 3.50pm - Panel session with speakers for Q & A’s

Tour option: Tram & "The Tannery" Shop Tour – 
Travel to CBD for a City Tram Tour, then to The Tannery (post-earthquake Boutique Retail development in Woolston, including café/restaurants)

3. Accommodation and Transport (15 – 17 April)

The cost of accommodation is not included in your reunion fee.

Halls of Residence Accommodation is available in the Halls of Residence at $82 per person per night incl. GST (includes bed and breakfast). Rooms sleep one person. Please indicate when registering if you would like to include this option.

We have also had enquiry as to provision for campervans on campus, of which there is an allocated space near the Halls.

The No. 81 bus leaves every 30 minutes from Lincoln University and from Christchurch. It departs from the Christchurch Polytechnic and Central Station (located at 46-50 Lichfield St). It also travels down Riccarton Road where many motels are located. For other bus stops and timetable information, please visit
