DipAg 1965-66 & DipVFM 1967 Reunion
9-13 February, 2016

This reunion marks memorable years in the social history of Lincoln College and New Zealand. If you were at Lincoln in 1965-66 and early 1967 you would have paid for your fees and everything else in pounds, shillings and pence. Decimal currency started in July 1967. And if you had money left over for drinking, and were aged 21 (or better still, passed for 21!) you’ll remember the 6 o’clock swill - abolished in October 1967. Keith Holyoake was Prime Minister; it was the period when 45 of the 1967 VFMer’s were undergoing farm inspections for their field test; the Hilgendorf Building was under construction; and Malcolm Burns was Principal. What memories can you revive for this reunion?

The reunion is made up of two parts:

  • Akaroa and surrounds (pre-reunion trip): 9-12 February
  • Lincoln University campus and surrounds : 12-13 February

1. Registration costs
