Calling all Lincoln College/Lincoln University Parks and Recreation alumni (or holders of related qualifications)! Here’s a great way to celebrate the value of your degree and reaffirm your association with Lincoln University.

Come along to the special Parks & Recreation networking evening at Lincoln University at 5:30pm on Wednesday 20 June.  This event is being held in association with the Conference ‘Towards Implementing a 2050 Vision for the Protected Areas of Aotearoa/New Zealand’ at Lincoln University from 20-22 June. For more information, please visit

The Bachelor of Parks and Recreation Management degree was established at Lincoln in 1988, from the Diploma in Parks and Recreation Administration, which was first awarded in 1973. In the years since the University has made an immense contribution to parks and recreation, tourism and conservation in New Zealand through the production of tertiary personnel, academic research, consultation and extension activities.

Lincoln alumni attending the PA2050 conference (& alumni not attending the Conference) are invited to help the University ‘Celebrate Over 40 Years of Parks and Recreation at Lincoln’ by attending the below drinks and nibbles event:

Where:  Mrs O’s Café, Lincoln University, Corner Ellesmere Junction Road and Springs Road, Lincoln
When: From 5:30pm till 7:30pm
Cost: No cost - complimentary drinks and nibbles will be served. Note you do not need to attend the conference to attend.
RSVP: By 15 June to or phone  Penny Curran +64 423 0012

We hope to see you there!
