Annual Appeal 2024

Together, with your loyal support, we can continue to create opportunities for our students and create a brighter future.

You are invited to contribute to the 2024 Annual Appeal, making a difference to our students through scholarships, and commissioning of our 150th Anniversary Sculpture.

Your generosity helps us fulfil our purpose of facilitating world-leading education and research in the land-based sectors, enhancing a greater understanding of the relationship between land, food and ecosystems.

We are committed to lifelong learning and recognise the importance of delivering relevant learning and research programmes along with a fulfilling campus experience.  Together, with your loyal support, we can continue to create opportunities for our students and create a brighter future.

We have identified two key areas where your support could help us to make a world of difference:
Lincoln University Scholarships, the 150th Anniversary Sculpture project, or both.

To donate, please select the below funds or download your copy of the Annual Appeal 2024 Brochure and Donation Form.

Donations over $5 are eligible for a tax rebate.

Thank you for supporting Lincoln University.

Lincoln University Scholarships

As the fees and costs associated with university study can be worrisome, our undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships are a welcome pathway to easing financial concerns.

Studying for a Diploma in Farm Management, North Canterbury student Thomas Hassall has his sights firmly set on a career in agriculture, following a strong family tradition of farming.

Tom is hugely appreciative of the financial support he has received when awarded a Lincoln University Alumni Association Diploma Scholarship.

"I have a huge passion for farming. That's the life I'm aiming for, and this scholarship has given me a valuable step forward."

150th Anniversary Sculpture

Lincoln University's acclaimed Art Collection will include a specially commissioned sculpture by 2028, ready for the University's 150th anniversary.

Adding to the enhancement of the campus, this sculpture will celebrate and signify the important role of legumes and nitrogen fixation in natural and managed ecosystems.

The artwork also acknowledges the research conducted in this field by Aotearoa New Zealand scientists and their contribution to understanding this fundamental biological process.

This specially commissioned sculpture will join Llewellyn Summers 'Up and Over', in the Lincoln University Art Collection (shown in image above).
