We are pleased to invite you to the Parks Leaders Forum, featuring a full day of professional development followed by an evening programme.

The forum will include a range of professional development sessions, including Masters of Parks Management "taster" sessions, panel presentations, updates on current research initiatives, a Lincoln University update, and campus tours.

The day will conclude with networking drinks & kai at our favourite Mrs O's Bar. As part of the evening programme we invite you to the entertaining and thought provoking Kim Hill Hot Topic Debate, which is also being hosted on campus.

Cost: this professional development opportunity is available free of charge. 

Venue: Conference A/B, Te Kete Ika, Lincoln University

Times:

  • 8.30AM: from 8.30am arrival coffee will be serving
  • 9:00AM: Day programme: Official Welcome, University Update
  • 9:20PM: Panel Presentation: Parks at LU: Past, Present, Future
  • 11:00AM: Master of Parks Management Taster Sessions 1
  • 12:30PM: Lunch & Demo, Tour, Forum Photograph
  • 1:30PM: Taster Sessions 2
  • 3:00PM: Afternoon Tea
  • 3:15PM: Hot Topics & Research Initiatives & Tour
  • 5:00PM: Evening Programme: Mrs O's Network Event (drinks & kai)
  • 6:30PM: Doors open (S1) Kim Hill Hot Topic Debate "Soil to Brain - Rethinking our connection" (start 7:30 PM - finish approx 9.30PM)
