Reconnecting - students calling alumni

Lincoln University began an alumni telephone campaign on Monday 15 September, with the calling segment running through until Thursday 9 October. Some of you reading this may have been contacted by one of the University’s student callers during the course of this campaign.

It has been great to give our students the opportunity to do something for the University, to get paid for it and to give our valued alumni the opportunity to share their stories and support a current student, should they wish to.

After appropriate selection and training the callers were tasked with updating each alumus they called on life at Lincoln University, checking the alumni records we hold, finding out what you have done with your Lincoln qualification and how it has influenced your career, as well as hearing your thoughts on ways you may become more involved with the University. They were also seeking your support for the University’s three ‘flagship’ scholarship programmes - Sports, Future Leaders, and Global Challenges.

If you received a call and have any feedback you would like to share with us about it, or if you did not receive a call but would like to be contacted, please contact one of the team in the Alumni & Development Office: Jo Brady, Manager, Jo.Brady@lincoln.ac.nz; Anisha Thomas, Alumni & Development Officer, Anisha.Thomas@lincoln.ac.nz or Erin Eyles, Alumni & Development Officer, Erin.Eyles@lincoln.ac.nz.
