|Open Day – open invitation|
Lincoln University’s annual Open Day for prospective students, their parents, family members and friends, is on Wednesday 16 July, 9.00am – 3.30pm.
On the programme are guided campus tours taking in facilities such as the library, recreation centre, halls of residence, lecture theatres and laboratories, plus opportunities to meet and talk with teaching staff, course advisers, student liaison staff and current students.
“Lincoln University is well known for family and generational connections within its student body,” says Student Liaison Manager Jaime Thomson. “The President of the Lincoln University Alumni Association, for example, Jo-Spencer-Bower, is a member of a family that has had members attending Lincoln over five generations, from the 1890s through to the 2000s. So if any of the University’s alumni have sons or daughters, or grandsons or granddaughters who are looking to tertiary study and qualifications, Open Day would be a great opportunity to bring them along to the campus and explore what Lincoln University has to offer today”.
