|New Lincoln-Telford Division Director|
Lincoln University’s new Lincoln-Telford Division Director, Martin Eadie, took up his post on 12 February this year.
Mr Eadie was selected from a field of strong domestic and international candidates and brings to the position solid career experience in educational strategy, delivery and management. He has held posts overseas (Oman and Bahrain) and within New Zealand such as with NZQA, where he was Tertiary Education Group Manager, the NZ Seafood Industry Training Organisation, where he was General Manager, and ITPNZ, the advocacy body for institutes of technology and polytechnics.
A key responsibility Mr Eadie has within his position is to build on iwi and other relationships, including the apiculture programme with Te Rarawa in Kaitaia, farming practices with Ng-ati Apa utilising the Lincoln-Westoe Trust farm in Rangitikei, and the Whenua Kura dairy and agriculture programme with Ngai Tahu.
Mr Eadie will be based on Lincoln University’s Te Waihora campus but will split his time with a presence on the Telford campus and at other delivery locations throughout New Zealand.
