Calling all 1950-70's Lincoln College Alumni 

We would like to invite you back to Lincoln on Friday 1- Sunday 3 February, 2013 for a Colombo Plan/NZ Aid Reunion. All 1950-70's Colombo Plan students, staff, fellow classmates and friends of Lincoln College, and more recent NZ Aid students are welcome. It will be a great opportunity to reconnect with old classmates and staff, and to hear what is happening at the Lincoln campus.

The Colombo Plan brought many students to study at Lincoln, however records of the time are sparse and not all are on the Alumni database, so we need your help! If you are a former Colombo Plan student, or you know of one, please contact Penny Curran, the Alumni Relations Officer.

The reunion programme includes informal dinners on the Friday and Saturday, and a 'Think Tank' workshop on  Saturday, for attendees and the University to share ideas. There will also be time to tour the campus, catch up with peers, and an optional bus tour of Christchurch and its surrounds. The reunion programme is outlined below:

Friday 1 February, 2013

Saturday 2 February, 2013
Lincoln University 'Think Tank' Workshop - Commerce Building, C1
The aim of this workshop is to provide an update on current research and activities at Lincoln, including the role of these in countries associated with the Colombo Plan. This will be a two-way dialogue and we will welcome your diverse contributions. Current New Zealand Aid students will also be invited to attend.

11.15am Bus departs for tour of Christchurch and its surrounds (optional and additional cost)

Registrations are now open. There is a nominal cost of NZD $160.00 per head for reunion activities and catering (please note this excludes breakfast, accommodation and flight expenses). Additional tickets for the social functions can be purchased. Payment for the bus tour will be taken at the reunion, and the cost will depend on the numbers participating.

Please note that this is a secure payment site run by Conference Innovators. By completing this registration, you are authorising Lincoln University to give your contact details to the reunion organisers,   Alistair and Pat Campbell for the purpose of organising the event.

If you do not intend to stay in the University Halls at a rate of NZD $69.00 per person per night (including bed and breakfast), you are advised to book as soon as possible as hotel and motel accommodation may be difficult to obtain next year.
